"True Thrush" is from Dan Deacon's new album, America, out on Domino August 27 (Rest of the world) / 28 (North America). Find out more information at http://www.dominorecordco.com/america Buy the album on iTunes: http://www.smarturl.it/dandeaconamerica CD/Limited Edition LP/Cassette: http://www.dominorecordco.com/america Directed by Ben O'Brien and Dan Deacon Produced by Dan Deacon and Ben O'Brien (http://www.showbeast.net http://www.benobrien.net) The video co-directed by Ben O'Brien and Dan Deacon is based on a drawing game popular in the Baltimore art collective Wham City, which is in turn based on the game "telephone." For the video, Dan and Ben filmed a simple 13-second scene. That scene was then shown to the next team. After seeing the video that team had 1 hour to recreate it -- characters, props, set, costumes, and actions -- as close to exactly as possible from only their memory. The cast is made up of members of Wham City, Dan Deacon Ensemble, Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Future Islands, Red Room Collective, Copycat Theater, Effervescent Dance Collective, Showbeast, Annex Theater, Nuclear Power Pants, FlucT, BXDC, Bloody Panda, Foot Talk, Important Comics, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and various icons of the legendary Baltimore Arts Community. I can teach you how to solve this world renowned puzzle so you can go and show off to your friends. Give it a try, you won't regret it! Here are the actual typed formulas for the third layer: 1. Making the cross: F R U R' U' F' (Dot [in any orientation], then L shape [with tips pointing down and to the right], and then the [horizontal] line) 2. Aligning the cross: R U2 R' U' R U' R' (One correct piece facing you and one facing away, then one incorrect facing you and one to the right) 3. Placing corners: L' U R U' L U R' U' (Any orientation if all corners false. Otherwise, correct corner on bottom right) 4. Final Step: R U2 R' U' R U' R' L' U2 L U L' U L (Keep false corners on bottom right and, if possible, top right)

Rider hits cyclists coming out of a turn on Mulholland Hwy. Cyclists didn't appear to have serious injuries. Note about cyclists and riders co-existing on this famous 2 mile stretch of road. Even though bicycles are up here in increasing numbers, this is the first time a bicycle has been hit by a motorcycle In the four years I've been up here. Motorcycle riders of all skill levels come up here to ride. The rider was not speeding & riding fine until he hit his foot and stood the bike up causing the bike to go wide. He then target fixated on the cyclist. . Here is a similar crash - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGAXsv2SL0c There are many more just like it. It is a very common type of crash on this turn. Just usually no one is there and the rider falls alone. It is very unfortunate, and a rare case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We wish the cyclists a speedy recovery. Great Link for Riders - Why Do We Panic in a Turn - http://www.svrider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187025 Update on Cyclist from Comments -" This was my friend visiting from England who was struck first. (I was further back on the hill when the accident happened and am one of the guys who comes in the picture to his assistance). He's doing ok today, was discharged from the hospital yesterday with no broken bones. Miraculously.." Google Maps Link - http://goo.gl/9X09c
