Almost every popsong that is created in todays music business has two intentions: Make money and make the music creators and the ones that plays the music bigger and more famous. Therefore they use a chord progression which all of us already heard since we were babies. The I-V-vi-IV progression is used in so many songs that I guess no one can count them all... Camp Pendleton may be home to thousands of Marines but at Red Bull Rivals at Del Mar Beach, there was a lighter mood to the famed base's proceedings. While hundreds of Marines and their families looked on, 20 surfers took to the restricted base waters to compete. The surf event played off the East Coast / West Coast rivalry that exists between Marines trained at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) on the West Coast and Marines trained at Paris Island on the East Coast.
